POLICIES
Active participation is the key to success in this course. It is the students' responsibility to attend every class, check the CANVAS site regularly, go over the course materials very carefully, and complete all quizzes and homework before the due dates.
Online quizzes may be assigned on the day of the class and are due by 11:59 pm on the same day. In-class quizzes may be assigned throughout the semester.
Homework is normally assigned by the end of a chapter or important topic and is due a week from the assignment date. The homework must be handwritten and scanned into a legible PDF file before submission.
Unexcused late assignments will not be accepted. Always contact the instructor as soon as possible if you believe you will need extra time for an assignment.
There are no makeup quizzes or exams without specific prior approval.
There is no extra work during, or after, the semester ends in order to bring up a grade.
